ROBERT J. DAVIS, PhD, MPH, PRESIDENT/CEO & EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
Robert J. Davis has more than 20 years' experience in health media. Prior to establishing MediVista Media, he launched and ran Newsweek Productions' health unit, which produced the highly-acclaimed PBS series HealthWeek, and also served as executive editor for Time Life Medical, a television venture headed by former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop. In addition, Davis has been a producer for CNN medical news, a reporter for Medical News Network, and a contributing health columnist for both The Wall Street Journal and WebMD. He is the author of two consumer health books, the Healthy Skeptic: Cutting Through The Hype About Your Health and Coffee Is Bad Good For You: The Truth About Diet And Nutrition Claims. He teaches at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health and is a board member of the California Endowment Health Journalism Fellowship program. A graduate of Princeton University, he also holds a master's degree in public health from Emory and a PhD in health policy from Brandeis University, where he was a Pew Foundation Fellow.
LOREN GOLDFARB, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Loren Goldfarb oversees all aspects of MediVista Media's operations, including business development, video production, customer relations, technical services, and content distribution through the Everwell TV network, everwell.com, and other platforms. Before co-founding MediVista Media, Goldfarb served as VP of Production at Home Front Communications, a broadcast pubic relations firm in Washington, D.C., where he provided strategic counsel to federal government agencies, Fortune 500 companies and national non-profits, and managed a large video production staff. He began his career in television as a writer and producer for NBC and its owned and operated television stations. Goldfarb's television credits include Dateline NBC, PBS HealthWeek, ABC's Nightline, among others. Goldfarb holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BA in broadcast journalism and policy studies from Syracuse University.
MATT HERREN, VP, SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Matt Herren manages MediVista Media’s overall business strategy and revenue growth, developing and exploiting original media across all content platforms. Herren draws from his extensive experience in digital health media, formerly serving as Vice President of Business Development at Information Television Network, a leading health content production company, where he was instrumental in overseeing business negotiations, international distribution, network co-productions, and corporate sponsorship agreements. Herren has developed and distributed award-winning health series in over 60 countries worldwide, partnering with leading networks and digital channels such as PBS, Discovery Communications, Universal Networks International, The Patient Channel, Verizon, Amazon.com, and Hulu.com. As a co-founder and managing partner of Pen & Sword Productions, Herren also developed a nationwide public television pledge special in partnership with Detroit Public Television and American Public Television. Previously, Herren directed sales across the Florida and Caribbean territories as a Regional Business Development Manager for Haworth, Inc., a $2.5 billion dollar corporation, managing sales teams for seven dealerships across the region. Herren graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications.
MRIA DANGERFIELD, SUPERVISING PRODUCER
Mria Dangerfield supervises and coordinates story development, field production and post production for Everwell TV. She began her career in the mid-1980s as a video journalist with the then relatively new CNN. She spent 11 years with Turner Broadcasting as an editor and supervisor, traveling extensively and serving as part of CNN's political and features units. In addition, she has written for Travelgirl magazine and produced programs for HGTV. She is a graduate of James Madison University.
SEAN KELLEY, DIRECTOR, CONTENT & ONLINE MEDIA
Sean Kelley supervises content development for all Everwell platforms and manages operations for Everwell.com. He is an award-winning journalist and blogger, with more than 20 years’ experience writing for newspapers, magazines and websites. Previously, he was a health editor and blogger at Time Inc., where he helped relaunch Health.com as the company's consumer medical portal. His articles on health, wellness and nutrition have appeared on CNN.com, in Health magazine, and in numerous other online and print outlets. Kelley is a graduate of the University of Alabama.
